Activity Overview
Are you looking to elevate your ropes or challenge course by giving adult learners unprecedented control over their own learning environment? Traditional courses feature pre-constructed elements that primarily test physical ability and emotional resilience. The Webmaster Bridge® revolutionises this experience by injecting a rigorous intellectual problem and multi-team collaboration challenge into the mix.
Instead of simply crossing a pre-built Burma Bridge, your participants must first assemble it themselves. Teams are presented with 29 separate, colourful, and tactile rope and metal components. They must collaboratively solve a complex three-dimensional puzzle to construct the bridge on the ground. Once successfully assembled, your trained staff safety-checks and tensions the bridge across a 13-metre (50-foot) gap—either as a high or low element—ready for the team to cross safely.
This unique approach perfectly aligns with adult generative learning principles, shifting the ownership of the challenge directly to the learners. It creates a profoundly memorable metaphor for high-performance teams: “We worked together to build a bridge that took us across a major obstacle to a celebration and a sense of achievement on the other side”.
The full package includes the Webmaster Bridge® components, the tabletop Webmaster® toolkit for indoor rehearsal, and comprehensive on-site safety and facilitation training. If you are ready to transform your experiential learning portfolio, contact us today to arrange a site evaluation and discover how to install the Webmaster Bridge® at your facility!
